Growing up in a household where both my parents were culinary trained gave me a great appreciation for food. Meals were not always gourmet (at least not every day) but they were far from ordinary. This all gave me a passion for cooking and putting different flavors together and of course a passion for eating food. I always knew that I wanted to be in the health field. When I was able to combine my passion for food and my love for medicine I was ecstatic!
Over the years it has been a pleasure helping others improve their health with nutrition therapy and learn what works for them. Recently I became my own patient when I contracted a bacterial infection which effected my gut health severely. I was able to treat myself by figuring out what foods were now causing inflammation in my body and treating myself through a specialized therapy which resulted in healing my gut. This gave me more of an appreciation for food and the field of nutrition.
In my practice I am able to find Wonderfully Nutritious Solutions to help my clients meet their goals, preventative or therapeutic. When achieving goals, everyone can’t take the same path. What works for one may not work for others. With this in mind recommendations are made specific to each clients needs!
