Berry, Nutty, Cream of Buckwheat

Ingredients
- 3/4 cups of Cream of Buckwheat (buckwheat cereal)
- 1 cup of water
- 3 cups of almond milk
- 3 sticks of cinnamon
- ¼ tsp of ginger powder
- ¼ tsp of salt
- 1 tbsp of golden flaxseeds
- 1 tbsp of chia seeds
- 1 tbsp of sliced almonds
- 3/4 cup of mixed berries (blueberries, raspberries and blackberries)
Directions
- In a medium sauce pan, add 1 cup of water and 3 cinnamon sticks. Allow to boil until water turns brown. Remove cinnamon sticks (may leave sticks if desired, I do!)
- Add 3 cups of almond milk to pan and add in buckwheat, salt and ginger
- Allow to come to a boil and reduce heat
- Stir until mixture is creamy
- Pour into bowl and top with flaxseeds, chia seeds, berries and almonds
